Travel cover for your staff

What can be included

• Medical assistance during the work trip
• Medical transport or repatriation
• Luggage: loss, theft or late delivery
• Liability during the trip
• Transport delays and extra nights away
• The work equipment taken on the trip

Depending on the option chosen. Which covers are included, their limits in euros and how far the geographical scope reaches are set out in the policy; you get all of it in writing before you sign anything.

Good to know

• This covers work trips, not the employee's holidays. If you want private trips included as well, tell us — that is a different conversation and a different price.
• From the Canaries, the mainland already means a flight. A trade fair in Madrid, training in Barcelona, a visit to a supplier: it is the same situation as a trip abroad — your people are far from home with a plane in between.
• The European Health Insurance Card gets them seen, but it does not pay for the journey home or for a private clinic. That is the difference you notice when something really happens.
• For frequent travellers there is an annual, multi-trip option: taken out once a year instead of registering each trip. How long a single trip may last is set out in the policy.
• This policy does not replace cover for accidents at work, nor what your convenio colectivo requires. That is what the accident policy for employees is for.
• If you post staff abroad for long periods, tell us beforehand: that is no longer a travel policy, and it deserves a proper look.
• For a quote we only need to know how many people travel, where to and how often a year. Names come later.
• Joiners and leavers are reported during the year. There is no need to wait for the renewal.
• We speak English, Spanish and German, at the office in Adeje. And if something happens on a trip, the call comes to us.
• Allianz also has group policies for life, health, accidents, savings and pensions. If more than one is of interest, we can cover them in a single meeting.
