Good to know
- Health insurance does not replace the Seguridad Social, it comes on top of it. The employee chooses the doctor and waits less for a test or a specialist appointment.
- For a quote we only need the number of employees, what the company does and the ages. Names come later.
- Before issuing the policy, Allianz looks at the health of the people to be insured. Whether a questionnaire is needed in your case depends on the size of the group and on what is agreed. We tell you that before we start, not at the end. We never ask about anyone's health on this website.
- The insured people need to be resident in Spain. We will need their NIE numbers.
- Some benefits have waiting periods (periodos de carencia) — a set time from joining before they can be used. They are set out in the conditions and we go through them with you before you sign.
- If an employee wants to include their family, tell us and we will look at it: it depends on how the group policy is set up.
- How the premiums are treated in your accounts and payroll is for your gestor; we give them the documents they need.
- Allianz also has group policies for life, accident, savings, travel and pensions. If more than one is of interest, we can cover them in a single meeting.
